Spray on overlay removed with walk-behind diamond grinder.                               Overlay on steps removed with 4" cup grinder.
Water based Charcoal and Dark Slate stain.                                                        Engraved steps..
16' x 22' engraved entrance walkway.                                                                   Dirty lens, my apologies...

Wood stain & concrete water-proofing!                                                                    3:1 Clay Canyon w/1:1 Brown Stone acid stain. Sponged effects.

More nasty stains.                                                                                              Coffee grinds/sponge treatments.

Concrete patch between rooms.                                                                           Disguised patch by engraving to look like a running stone bond.

Parquet floor adhesive. Grinding left uneven surface.                                              Sanded as smooth as possible. 1:1 Brown Stone w/engraved separation.

What a difference the stain makes! The natural stone and stain compliment each other perfectly!

]Large 3-section sunroom addition.

Engraved 'mosiac' tile border. Freehand ribbon effect flowing/twisting from room to room. Hand cut 24 inch 'tiles'.

The peeling latex paint & 9" tile pattern had to go!    Rust SimStain with 9" border & 18" diamond pattern.

Boring gray to Midnight Sky.

Added an engraved "rowlock" around the planters and step tread. Partial proceeds donated to WSU 'Rockin' the Roundhouse' fund.

No before pics...Just a bare concrete floor with walnut husk stains. Water based Charcoal w/Inside Acrylic sealer.

Sealer delaminating due to too many coats. Mechanically/chemically removed, restained and sealed.

Small porch with a bad stain from a planter. SimStain Rust color with Charcoal accents. Proceeds went to The Boys and Girls Club of Wichita.

Nice patio made even nicer with Brown Stone acid stain. I was at war with Barn Swallows on this project!

26' diameter labyrinth @ Kansas Wesleyan University Meditation Garden           Four colors and engraved 'grout lines'.

No before shots. Had to hide many carpet tackstrip spalls.                               Different dilutions of Charcoal w/ragged on light gray in border.

Gotta love those new construction projects!

Looks like a paint/wood stain war zone!                                                                                    BIG difference.

This job was TOUGH! Prep was paramount but it turned out beautiful!                                         Kona Brown acid stain w/Onyx Black water-based border.

No clear before shots. This was a sealer strip and re-stain to checkerboard pattern.

Flood damaged sealer. Complete strip, re-stain where needed and re-seal.

Simple, small job using Cordovan Leather acid stain.

Wow! This one was a mess! Glue, wood stain and paint. Balkan Amber, Stygian and Brown Stone acid stains.

Bad photo. Same job, same colors, BIG difference!

Diamond layout to be cut before stain for an awesome look.                                  Stained, sealed & shining!

Weathered Bronze acid stain.

Big mess for a small room.                                                                                 Custom mixed water based colors with sponged and ragged effects.

The challenge was the 'ghosting' of the carpet pad left in the concrete. Looks fantastic now! Kona w/Stygian border. Border cut tinted with Autumn Umber.

Flaking as a result of non-professional grade product.                                             Pressure-washed and sprayed w/water-based Mocha & very little Caramel to blend.

Old, crappy stain looked like a strawberry-orange creamsicle swirl...sort of.               Much better. Some orange wouldn't come off so Caramel was used to blend old w/new.

What a huge difference professional products and installation makes!

Camera phone shots. Obviously not professional photos! Many colors used here, some acid some water based. Design possibilities are vast.....

Grungy from years of leaves and dirt.

Water reducible custom colors to match existing flagstone.

After careful consideration it was mutually decided that the old de-laminating sealer would be removed chemically as to not expose aggregate....Lots of work!

Well worth the extra effort to retain the glazed tile look of the original tooled concrete.

Weathered Bronze w/Stygian acid stain.

A bit blurry (my apologies) but you can see the difference Azure Sky and Olive Mist acid stains provide.

Another "Team Paint vs Team Wood Stain" floor.

Paint, wood stain, Polyurethane and magic marker.                                                           Gone and replaced with Cordovan Leather/Kona Brown acid stains.

This client wanted dark stain. They had another company do their last home and in came out too orange. Not with multiple applications of Stygian acid stain!

Before pics were too blurry. Brand new floor, just past hydration period. Weathered bronze with a very small amount of Stygian acid stain.

Weathered Bronze/Kona Brown/Stygian.

Client's porch was damaged by vandals with an 'acid bomb'. After failed attempts by vandals to repair using a resurfacer I used a grinder to shape the slab to a stone profile then layed out a random slate pattern to resemble, not duplicate the stonework of the house and stained with multiple water-based stains.

This was a bunch of work for such a small space but it turned out really nice. The client was happy with the random tiled look with varying 'grout line' widths like the walls.

No 'before' pics. This floor had a lot of cracks. Kona Brown w/coffee grinds used as accents. Also had rusty nail stains scattered throughout.

The owner's home office.

Media area.

Again, no before shots. Another floor with a lot of cracks. Golden Sand w/Western Saddle acid stain.

Ready for stain. Family Room area will be carpeted in bottom left of photo.                          Taping off for border in Game Room.

Substandard photos. Weathered Bronze w/Kona Brown accent and border. Engraved separation lightly stained w/Autumn Umber.

Carpet tack-strip spalls patched used the 'Banding Method'. There were very many to patch as well as a lot of blue and white paint and carpet glue.

Stygian acid stain. This room is going to be a music/rec room. Can't wait to see it papered and furnished!

Super flat, fairly tightly troweled floor by Kemp Construction. These guys place a really nice floor and cut straight lines as well.

Kona Brown. I had to screen this floor quite a bit.

I really enjoyed this job. Great superintendant for Cornerstone Bldrs (Dave) and everyone stayed off of the floor until I turned it over to them!

Bad rust stains from leaking man-lift.                                                                            After treating as best possible. It covered completely!

SCADA Control Room. All surfaces done in GREEN CERTIFIED water-based (Charcoal) stains/sealers/wax.
