A sealer is also applied to enhance and protect your beautiful new concrete surface. Abrasives can be added to any sealer to promote a non-slip surface in varying degrees without effecting the luster of the finish.
Staining and engraving is permanent. The design is IN the concrete rather than on it. Since it is not an overlay or flooring material there is no build-up. No doors to alter. No tiles to come loose. No weeds or grass to grow between patterns or designs. Maintenance is simple, wet mop indoors and a garden hose outdoors!
Almost anything is possible: cobblestone, flagstone, river rock, ashlar slate or traditional tile patterns; linear or circular brick patterns; borders, address numerals, welcome greetings, colorful geometric designs or custom logos.
In many cases unsightly cracks, chips and discolorations can be incorporated into a design. Sealers are resistant to most oils and chemicals.
